Use a teaspoon of fresh lime juice as a conditioner. Apart from removing the dandruff, it also gives a glowing effect to the hair.

Take a tbsp. of dried gooseberry(Amla) powder and boil it in 2-3 tablespoon of coconut oil. After straining the oil, massage it on your scalp. You can leave this oil in your hair overnight and then wash it off with shampoo next morning.

Boil 12 curry leaves in coconut oil till it turns black. Apply this on your scalp as a hair tonic for treating the problems of hair loss and pigmentation.

Hair Loss

Hair loss is a condition when a person faces extreme hair fall. This can be due to hereditary reasons, medication or even because of medical conditions. A little bit of hair fall every day is normal and is part of the growth cycle but when the hair loss becomes a little more than the usual, it might cause baldness. The major factor for hair loss is nutritional deficiency. Other causes are age factor, genetic factor, hormonal changes, stress and excessive dandruff.

Take Milk 1 cup, Cow Ghee 1 tspn., Sesame seeds 1 tspn. and Almonds 4 nos. Soak sesame seeds and almonds overnight.  Peel the almonds.  Blend it with milk. Warm it. Add sugar and Cow Ghee.  Drink it on an empty stomach in the morning.

Hair Split Ends

Split ends is a problem commonly faced by people with dry or very brittle hair. Split ends occur, when the protective layer of cuticle is removed from the tip of the strands. As a result, the hair splits into two or three strands at its tips.Vigorous brushing or combing of hair can cause split ends.

Home Remedies Receipe :

Take a ripe papaya. Mash the papaya and add the 1 cup curd to it. Mix both well. Apply this mixture on to the hair symmetrically.  Leave it for 1 hour. Then take hair bath with natural shampoo.

As people age, hair tends to gradually thin. Other causes of hair loss include hormonal factors, medical conditions and medications. Hormonal changes and imbalances can also cause temporary hair loss..The thyroid gland helps regulate hormone levels in your body. If the gland isn't working properly, hair loss may result. Infections, such as ringworm, can invade the hair and skin of your scalp, leading to hair loss.

Take ½ cup of Coconut oil, add 1 tbsp of dry pieces of amla. Boil this mixture and allow it to cool. Apply it on the scalp.

Premature Graying

Graying begins to get apparent after the increased shedding of the thicker, darker hairs coupled with an enhanced growth of thinner white hairs. A hormonal imbalance, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, malnutrition, pernicious anemia, nutritional deficiency, using electric dryers and concentrated hair dyes, as well as genetic disorders, chemotherapy and radiation, are all factors. Mix 1 tsp of Indian gooseberry (Amla) juice with a tsp of almond oil and few drops of lime juice. Apply this mixture on your hair and keep it overnight. In the morning, wash the hair. This is an effective home remedy for treating premature grayling of hair.
