Anxiety

Anxiety is an unpleasant state of inner turmoil, often accompanied by nervous behaviour, such as pacing back and forth, somatic complaints and rumination. It is the subjectively unpleasant feelings of dread over anticipated events, such as the feeling of imminent death. Anxiety is not the same as fear, which is a response to a real or perceived immediate threat; whereas anxiety is the expectation of future threat. Anxiety is a feeling of fear, worry, and uneasiness, usually generalized and unfocused as an overreaction to a situation that is only subjectively seen as menacing. It is often accompanied by muscular tension, restlessness, fatigue, and problems in concentration. These common factors can cause anxiety: stress at work, stress in a personal relationship such as marriage, financial stress, stress from an emotional trauma such as the death of a loved one, stress from a serious medical illness, side effect of medication, use of an illicit drug, and lack of oxygen in circumstances as diverse as high altitude sickness, emphysema, or pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the vessels of the lung)

Home Remedies Receipe :

  1. Take Cumin seed powder 1 tsp, Fennel seed powder  ½ tsp., Rose Petals 20,  Coriander seed powder  1 tsp., Raw Cane Sugar 1 tsp and Water 1 glass. Boil the above mixture and keep it covered for 20 minutes.  Filter and drink two times a day.
  2. Take one cup of milk. add pinch of  nutmeg and make it warm. Drink this milk lukewarm.

Cumin seed powder , Fennel seed powder  Rose Petals, Coriander seed powder , Raw Cane Sugar, Nutmeg

Depression

Depression is a state of the mind, body and thoughts which work together towards negativity. It is not a disease but an illness wherein a person is not able to do normal things. Due to the depressed state of mind, a person can find the daily chores to be very taxing and is unable to do them. In this state of mind, a person is unhappy and suffers emotionally and mentally rather than physically. Depression may be caused due to mental stress or due to high intake of antibiotics. At times, anxiety may also be the cause of depression. For some people, depression can also be because of the monotonous life. 

Home Remedies Receipe :

Take 5 tsp. Shatavari powder, 3 tsp.Brahmi powder, 5 tsp. Guduchipowder and 3 tsp. Jatamansi powder. Mix these powders, add ½ cup of water to about ¼ of mixture and drink it 3 times a day.

Key Ingredient:

Shatavari powder,  Brahmi powder,  Guduchi powder and Jatamansi powder 

Hysteria

Hysteria, in its colloquial use, describes unmanageable emotional excesses. The fear can be cantered on a body part or most commonly, on an imagined problem with that body part. Hysteria is a psychological state, wherein the mind of a person gets affected by unmanageable fear or emotional excesses. People struck by hysteria have less or no control over one's acts and emotions and undergo sudden seizures of unconsciousness, with emotional outbursts every now and then. Though anxiety is the main cause for hysteria, there are certain other reasons for its occurrence as well. 

Home Remedies Receipe :

Take ¼ tbsp. of Hing (asafoetida ) roast it in the pan, ¼  tbsp of Vaj, ¼  tbsp of of Kath, ½ tbsp Saindhav (Rock salt) ½ tbsp of vavding powder, Mix all this well and sieve it in nice powder. Take ½ tbsp. of this powder with lukewarm water one in the morning on empty stomach and in the night

Key Ingredient:

Hing (asafetida),Vaj, Kath, Saindhav(rock salt), Vavding

Nervousness

Nervousness is characterized by a feeling of restlessness, apprehension and worry. Contrary to fear, in such a situation, there is no form of external threat present. Excessive nervousness is harmful and may cause physical, emotional, psychological as well as cognitive impairment in a person. There are a number of factors that lead to nervousness. Causes of nervousness could be withdrawal from alcohol or drugs, excessive use of caffeine and other stimulants, hormonal disorders and side effects of certain medicines. Symptoms of nervousness: confusion, dizziness or lightheadedness, dry mouth, extremely fast heartbeat and fatigue.

Home Remedies Receipe :

Take 2 tablespoons honey and ¼  teaspoon nutmeg in a cup of orange juice and drink this mixture

Honey, Nutmeg, Orange juice

Description

Stress is the term given to the difficulty that the body faces while combating a physical or emotional threat, be it actual or imagined. Some of the common symptoms of stress include irritability, muscular tension, inability to concentrate and a variety of physical reactions, such as headaches and accelerated heart rate. Stress is not always harmful. Sometimes, it helps a person perform better and achieve his/her goals. However, excess of stress can work negatively, hampering the work and lifestyle of a person.
