Alzheimer's Disease

Alzheimer's disease causes dysfunction in the working of the brain. In the early stages, the most common symptom is difficulty in remembering recent events, known as short term memory loss. Alzheimer destroys the brain cells of a person and causes difficulty in recalling things. It affects the thinking and behaviour of a person and impinges on his/her daily routine and social life completely. The risk of getting Alzheimer's disease increases with age. 

Home Remedies Receipe :

Take one tsp jaggery and one clove of garlic. Mix everything together and give it to the patient twice a day.

Amnesia (Loss of Memory)

Amnesia is a deficit in memory caused by brain damage, disease, or psychological trauma. Amnesia can also be caused temporarily by the use of various sedatives and hypnotic drugs. Essentially, amnesia is loss of memory. The memory can be either wholly or partially lost due to the extent of damage that has caused.

Home Remedies Receipe :

Take one tsp of honey and add pinch of finely grounded black pepper, once a day. This would help enhance memory.

Normal age-related memory loss doesn't prevent you from living a full and productive life. In people with memory loss, certain symptoms are cause for concern: Difficulty doing usual daily activities, difficulty paying attention and fluctuations in level of consciousness—symptoms that suggest delirium and depression.

Home Remedies Receipe :

  1. Take 100 grams Almonds, 100 grams Badi saunf (Fennel seeds) ground them to  a fine paste. Every night before going to bed take about 1 teaspoon of this paste with ½ cup of water.
  2. Take Brahmi, Shatavari, Shankavali, Jesthmadh and Aswagandha powder ½ tbs each, mix it and take three times a day with milk
  3. Soak 4 almonds over night in the water, next morning, remove skin of almonds and have it.

Insomnia, or sleeplessness, is a sleep disorder in which there is an inability to fall asleep or to stay asleep as long as desired. The major symptoms of insomnia are difficulty in falling asleep/ staying asleep, waking up during the night, inability to fall back to sleep when awakened in the middle of the night and inability to sleep during regular hours.Tension, anxiety, stress, suppressed resentment, anger, bitterness, constipation, overeating, excessive tea/coffee/smoking are some of the causes sleeplessness.

Take one tsp. of Shankhpushpi powder mix it into half cup of lukewarm milk. Add and drink it twice a day.
